Voya Privacy Policy

Strongware LLC publishes Voya. The Android app does not require a Voya account, access contacts or photos, or request precise or approximate device location permission.
Trip and profile data
Your traveler name, trips, destinations, dates, itineraries, saved places, budgets, expenses, locally added travelers, availability notes, votes, and preferences are stored on your device. Voya does not send this planner data to a Strongware account server. Android may back up this data if device backup is enabled.
Sharing
When you choose Share Plan, Android opens the system share sheet with a text summary of the active trip. Voya sends the summary only to the app or person you select. The recipient and selected service handle the shared text under their own privacy terms.
Built-in place suggestions
The Android app includes a local set of demonstration and planning suggestions. Its schematic Explore map does not read your device location or contact an external map provider.
Advertising
The free app uses Google AdMob for banner ads outside the active onboarding screen. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses that indicate approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit.
Voya requests non-personalized ads. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before ads are requested. Available choices can be reopened from Settings. Android also provides advertising ID controls. Voya Pro removes ads.
Voya Pro
Google Play handles the optional monthly and yearly subscriptions and restoration. Voya receives product prices, purchase tokens, and purchase status to unlock Voya Pro and acknowledge payment. Strongware does not receive payment-card details. Voya Pro removes ads and permits unlimited locally stored trips.
Complimentary access
A reviewer or promotional access code can activate the same Voya Pro entitlement without payment. Validation happens on the device. The app stores an activation flag rather than the code. Complimentary access can be removed in Settings.
Support and choices
If you email support, Strongware receives the information you choose to send and uses it to answer the request. You can use the trip planner offline, adjust available ad privacy choices, restore Voya Pro with the purchasing Google Play account, and remove local app data in Android settings. Children
Voya is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
