strongware LLC (“we”) operates LifeCast. Weather, recommendations, Nearby, and radar can be used without an account.
Information we process
- Location: with permission, precise or approximate location supports forecasts, alerts, radar, nearby ideas, and saved places. Precise saved-place coordinates remain private.
- Account information: optional Sign in with Apple may provide a private relay email, name, and Apple account identifier. Apple identity is never made public automatically.
- Preferences and activity: interests, saved places, achievements, notification choices, product interaction, installation identifiers, and subscription status support requested features and syncing.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure LifeCast, personalize forecasts and suggestions, sync optional accounts, deliver requested notifications, process subscriptions, respond to support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Service providers
We use providers including Apple for authentication, maps, payments, notifications, and weather services; Supabase for optional account storage; and weather/radar data providers. Providers process information under their own terms and our instructions where applicable.
Retention and sharing
Guest data generally stays on the device unless a network request or notification registration requires transmission. Account data is kept while the account is active. Security records may be retained where reasonably necessary. We disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to service providers operating LifeCast.
Your choices
You may deny location, use manual city search, change notification permissions, reset local data, sign out, or delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes associated profile data, saves, achievements, and notification registrations, subject to narrow security or legal retention.
